With this week’s shooting at a school in Oregon, the number of school shootings since Adam Lanza's spree at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut has risen to 74. Remember how angry we all were after Newton? Remember how we vowed to do something? We didn’t; and it happened again and again, seventy-four times in the last eighteen months, all over the country; that's almost one school shooting a week in this country. USA! USA! USA! |
